This call for scientific projects is opened to any users outside France-BioImaging, who would like to use the infrastructure. Applications for access can be electronically submitted at any time, filling out the form below. They are evaluated monthly by the Executive Board of France-BioImaging. After acceptance, the user will have access to the facility of his choice or will be proposed to contact a more appropriate site.
The eligibility criteria are:
- the project requires imaging technology unavailable at proximity
- the project must be based on an innovative or rarely available technology and / or
- requires a specific expertise (methodology / technology / biotechnology knowledge, animal facility, data processing …) and / or
- a suitable scientific environment, possibly collaborative (example: neurosciences, cancer research… )
FBI will eventually support the selected projects for marginal access costs (Travel costs need to be covered by the user).
After the visit
At the end of their on-site project, users will be required to fill in the following satisfactory survey.
Note: Filling in this post-access feedback form is mandatory, as it is essential for FBI to continuously optimize its services and to get statistics and information necessary for justifying continued operations.
All the users (and thus authors) are required to acknowledge France BioImaging in their publications when they used one of the FBI core facilities. The mandatory term is:
“We acknowledge the X (name of imaging facility), member of the national infrastructure France-BioImaging, supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR-10-INBS-04)”
