RIME, the Electron Microscopy Imaging Network (Réseau d’Imagerie en Microscopie Électronique), currently brings together common centers and laboratories focused on the scientific and technical development of electron microscopy in biology. The network includes 300 members from various supervisory institutions (Universities, CNRS, INSERM, INRA) across multiple sites in France.

Objectives of RIME:
• Promote the common microscopy centers and electron microscopy laboratories that offer open access to their equipment and expertise,
• Contribute to the scientific and technical development of microscopy through training initiatives,
• Organize working groups to address common challenges,
• Strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing among network members to facilitate the transfer of expertise and best practices.

The RTmFm is a multidisciplinary technology network centered around photonic microscopy for biology. The expertise within the community ranges from sample preparation for microscopy to mathematics, digital processing, data analysis, and storage. Our network plays a key role in fostering cohesion, knowledge transfer, and skill-sharing across these disciplines and among all its members.

Objectives of RTmFm:
• Support and promote technological and methodological advancements, as well as the exchange of expertise and methods within our community,
• Encourage interactions between imaging platforms and research teams, particularly by addressing key aspects of technology transfer,
• Facilitate information sharing, primarily through the organization of national imaging platform meetings and the activities of dedicated working groups (GTs).
