Virgile Viasnoff is a CNRS research director working at the Institut de biologie du Développement à Marseille. Physicist by training, he is an expert in mechanobiology using microfabrication and new imaging technologies to decipher and control the developmental mechanisms in heart and liver organoids.

He joined FBI in July 2024 and is in charge of the National Affairs.
