Full workflow support on surface morphology and ultrastructural analysis in SEM and TEM
Serial sectioning, SBF, FIB-SEM
X-ray Microtomography of large samples (1mm up to 30cm in diameter)
(Key words : 3D volumetric acquisition; large samples; non-invasive inspection; tomodensitometry)
Volumetric electron microscopy : from sample preparation (chemical fixation), to imaging & data processing
(Key-words: SBF, Array-tomography, µCT, micro-wave, nanotomy)
Intravital mono or bi-photon imaging with either short or long (up to 2 cm) working-distance objectives and coupled with cellular manipulation (mouse, fish and insect models). This can be applied to high resolution cellular imaging of molecule extravasation (e.g. nanobodies, drugs, hormones), capillary blood flow, cellular migration and signaling (e.g. calcium, ligand sensors), and molecule distribution into the extracellular space.
With the help of the IBDM Lignt Microscopy Facility we can offer an comprehensive CLEM Pipeline from live fluorescence imaging to EM imaging (in 2D and 3D)
As Volume EM techniques we offer Electron Tomography and Serial Blockface Scanning Electron Microscopy. The targeting of a precise ROI can be achieved by integrating Light Microscopy or X-ray imaging in the pipeline.
Strong local expertise in multi-contrast multiphoton tissue imaging based on 2PEF, 3PEF, SHG, 3PEF, polarization and ZP-FLIM contrasts. Acces to lab-built and application-oriented systems for pilot studies after a project evaluation by our scientific commitee.
It is simple to measure genome size (pg DNA) of plants or insects with cytometry by isolating nuclei mechanically in adequate buffer.
