With the help of the CircuitPhotonics platform we can offer several approaches to imaging living organisms, on brain slices with a TriMscope 1 (LaVision Biotec), in mouse brains with several 2-photon excitation stations (and one with 3-photon excitation) Bruker Ultima 2, Karthala, Zeiss NLO …

With the help of the IBDM Lignt Microscopy Facility we can offer an comprehensive CLEM Pipeline from live fluorescence imaging to EM imaging (in 2D and 3D)

As Volume EM techniques we offer Electron Tomography and Serial Blockface Scanning Electron Microscopy. The targeting of a precise ROI can be achieved by integrating Light Microscopy or X-ray imaging in the pipeline.

Strong local expertise in multi-contrast multiphoton tissue imaging based on 2PEF, 3PEF, SHG, 3PEF, polarization and ZP-FLIM contrasts. Acces to lab-built and application-oriented systems for pilot studies after a project evaluation by our scientific commitee.

RIM, based on natural laser speckle illumination, is a method of choice for super-resolved imaging of living cells in depth. The idea is to combine optically resolved laser speckle illumination with an algorithm that exploits the statistical invariance of speckle. A stack of hundreds of random speckle images is acquired using a random diffusive element, then deconvoluted to reconstruct the optical cross-section of the super-resolved image. The invariant properties of the statistics of the speckle scattering through the biological sample make it possible to obtain images in depth. In addition, the wide-field illumination and detection configuration ensures high acquisition speed and sample preservation.
