We’ve got many news and upcoming events to share with you! Here is a quick rundown.

9.2M€ funding awarded to France-BioImaging Research Infrastructure

In 2024, the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research allocated 80M€ for a call dedicated to the National Research Infrastructures in Biology and Health (Programme Investissement d’Avenir) to keep their research and technologies at the highest level of excellence.

France BioImaging was a laureate of the call with its project Biological Imaging Next-Generation Instruments (BIOGENI).

In this project, 1.9 M€ will be invested to rejuvenate and upgrade existing technologies and 7.3 M€ will serve to implement new technologies, paving the way for the use of next-generation imaging methods by our users.

Reminder: Submit your best microscopy image to FBI Image Contest 2024

Haven’t submitted your image yet? What are you waiting for?

You have until November 8th, 2024 and try to win your registration fees for one 2025 microscopy related event of your choice (FOM, ELMI, EMC, COMULIS conference, etc.).

Last year, we had a wonderful top 3: france-bioimaging.org/announcement/winning-images-fbi-image-contest-2023. This time, it could be you!

We are all eager to see your work!

France-BioImaging will run a booth at Les Rendez-vous Carnot 2024!

It’s October, meaning you will be able to meet France-BioImaging at the Rendez-Vous Carnot 2024 forum!

With 109 laboratories and 70 technologies, we offer services, training and research collaborations for the private sector. From healthcare and cosmetics to food-processing and environment, microscopy can answer the needs of a wide range of markets and sample types.

If you are planning to attend the Rendez-Vous Carnot  in Paris on October 16, be sure to drop by FBI booth and meet our colleagues at the venue:

  • Caroline Thiriet , France-BioImaging External Affairs Manager
  • Samy Al-Bourgol, France-BioImaging Business Officer

Schedule a meeting with us through the Rendez-Vous Carnot portal: https://www.rdv-carnot.com/index.php

Looking forward to meeting you there!

Programme's out! EuBI User Forum: Focus on Immunology

The next Euro-BioImaging User Forum “Focus on Immunology,” will take place on Tuesday, October 15, from 2-5 pm online. This event will explore how imaging can support immunology research covering both scientific & technical aspects of Immunology-focussed research projects. Everyone is welcome!
