Post doc position in single-molecule biophysics

Position Information:
The Institut de Génétique Humaine (IGH, CNRS/UM) is an internationally recognized research institute focusing on gene expression, RNA biology, and genome regulation. The recruited researcher will join a newly established research group developing single-molecule imaging approaches to study RNA-protein dynamics in living cells.
Missions
Main mission: To design and conduct advanced live-cell single-molecule imaging experiments for dissecting RNA-protein dynamics, with a particular focus on mRNA translation regulation.
Activities:
- Optimization of nanostructure-based live-cell imaging platforms.
- Execution of experiments on translation dynamics.
- Analysis of single-molecule trajectories and quantification of molecular interactions.
- Active integration within the host laboratory and collaboration with local partners.
- Participation in the preparation of funding applications, in support of the project leader.
Profile
We are looking for a motivated candidate with a PhD in biophysics, molecular biology, or a related field. Experience in fluorescence microscopy or quantitative imaging approaches would be an advantage.
Information
The net monthly salary is between €2,200 and €2,380
The contract duration is 18 months
