    BioImage Cloud News

    Announcement

Welcome to this first edition of the monthly BiClou news where we’ll keep you posted on the latest developments, deployment, features, tips and much more related to the Data workgroup’s national initiative.

As a reminder, BioImage Cloud acts as a transport solution designed to streamline the transfer of imaging datasets from acquisition to a shared cloud storage.

    New release

Version 1.5 of the solution is now available, with numerous bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and major updates to the documentation. Thanks to our users we were able to identify and correct several frustrating  import bugs. We are currently working on a revamp of the import UI, including alternatives to using the excel files. More news coming soon!

    Security certification

Major developments have led to the recent national security certification. The security audit verified compliance with the CNRS Information systems safety policy (PSSI) and France’s Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI) requirements. Théo Barnouin, our network engineer, recently presented the process at the JCAD data and computing conference in Nantes.

    Open Desks

If you are intersted in our data management solutions, remember that open desk sessions are organized every other Wednesday. During these sessions, we can guide you and your group through the installation and configuration process, and answer any questions you may have.

As always, if you wish to contact the group, you can send us a mail (data@france-bioimaging.org), join us on our tchap room (https://www.tchap.gouv.fr/#/room/!lMiByTvPUIRywUAeJj:agent.education.tchap.gouv.fr), or directly post issues on our repo (https://codeberg.org/BioImageCloud/omero-quay/issues).
