    Call design

The goal is to give fresh air and time to CF staff to develop a one-year R&D project into their CF.
This call has been designed to increase the attractivity or the competitiveness of the CF of FBI infrastructure. This call is dedicated to statutory CF staff. We will fund projects hosted in a Core facility (CF) from France-BioImaging

    Eligibility criteria

No Technology Readiness Level (TRL) is expected for this call. “Technology” implies instrumentation, probes, staining methods or software.

    Awards

In the context of this call, France-BioImaging will fund 7 projects up to 40 k€ each (expected success rate about 40%). The budget could include salary, equipment or functioning. (It is mandatory that “Dépense service fait” is done before 12/31/2024). The rules for using the funds will be very flexible to allow the “service fait au 31/12/2024”, while allowing the one-year project to start during 2024. Co-funding of projects is encouraged.

    Aims

The aim of this internal call is to give a CF engineer time to devote to developing a one-year
    R&D project.

This call will be open the 2023-10-25 at 09h00 CET and the deadline for submission of proposals is the 2023-11-24 at 23h59 CET.

We will acknowledge the receipt of all the applications within two days. Projects will have to be written in English.
