During development, the gene expression network must be coordinated, adapted to a changing environment, and marked by cell lineage and past history. Using cutting edge imaging approaches in C elegans, the candidate will dissect how ribonucleoprotein (RNP) phase transitions control RNA expression in response to environmental and developmental cues.
