Iron nanoparticles produced by magnetotactic bacteria named magnetosomes are design like targeted contrast agent for MRI study. In this picture, vessels are stained with an anti-CD31 antibody (green), microglia cells with an antibody anti-Iba1 (orange) and magnetosomes are stained with an home design antibody against them (red).
